Our Team
Both target areas PALM2 have together a team of
- - 12 mobilizers
- 5 field coordinators
- 5 Qualified senior staff
- Outside expertise is called in if and when necessary
- Two office staff, of which one is the account assistant
- 4 pre school teachers and 4 helpers
- The founder/adviser ( parttime)
- A voluntary TRUST Board with 5 members.
The PALM 2 staff is selected more on their attitude towards the poor, than on their degrees on paper. The new staff is obliged to undergo a series of training programs in the Self Help Group Concept, in communication, basic administration, problem solving and Bank linking. Each individual program emphasizes on gender equity. Learning the PRA methodology is a must and applied at all times.
18 Community resource persons ( one per CBO) are being trained in 2009 to take over from the mobilizers. They are selected and supported by their CBOs
